I am an assistant professor in the Department of Geography, Planning, and Environment at East Carolina University. I earned a Ph.D. degree in Geography and Geographic Information Science (GIS) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I bring my expertise in GIS, geospatial data analysis/visualization, spatiotemporal analysis, and spatial statistics to address interdisciplinary questions of the effect of environmental stressors on human health and diseases, environmental justice, and health disparities. My research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the American Association of Geographers.
